Red pepper has a strong spicy fragrance and taste from spicy to spicy and even very hot (due to the content of phenolic compounds capsaicin (vanililamid metilenovoj acid), which is not in a sweet Bulgarian pepper). Capsaicin is found in the seeds, veins and skin of the fruit.
Red pepper contains large amounts of vitamins C and A. Green pepper (unripe red pepper) contains significantly less of these vitamins. In addition, pepper is a good source of vitamin B particularly vitamin B6. Red pepper is also rich in potassium, magnesium and iron. Besides capsaicin, 1.5% essential oil, fatty oil is found in fruits.
